Alan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, with Major in Marketing, Cum Laude, from the Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania. Alan was active in the Undergraduate Marketing Society and Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity.
Alan spent 15 years with Dah Jin International Commodities, an importer of pet supplies and home garden accessories (Currently Merged with a Large Hong Kong Conglomerate and is no longer located in the U.S.). Serving as Sales and Client Service Director, Alan increased revenue and profitability, by generating leads, and setting up the most qualified new business appointments – via cold-calling and networking – for colleagues and himself. Alan oversaw and provided client service, by making sure products were quality controlled, shipped efficiently and on time to Sears, their largest client as well as other smaller chains and retail outlets.
Alan spent the next 15 years with Sky Advertising located in The Big Apple, NYC, an ad agency that specialized in branding, marketing and advertising, in the areas of Real Estate for subsidiaries of major Real Estate Franchises and also Recruitment Advertising for Astoria Bank, CareOne, (a chain of assisted living facilities in New Jersey and up in New England) as well as NYU Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases. Attaining the level of Senior Vice President, Alan helped to reposition the company from a print ad agency to a branding and marketing firm with online services. Alan increased revenues and profitability by: increasing leads and new appointments for colleagues and himself; managing and providing client services; recruiting and training Business Development and Client Service Executives. Alan managed the opening of – and led business development efforts for – the Los Angeles sales office, while based in New York.
Alan’s major clients, at the ad agency, were Silverstein Properties (owner of The Freedom Tower & River Place In NYC) as well as Goldfarb Properties, Landlords of thousands of rentals in NYC, Far Rockaway, Bronx and New Rochelle. Alan views the real estate industry as an extremely Lucrative, dynamic and entrepreneurial endeavor and a most fitting label for his massive and wide range experience. He has partnered up with Turn Key Real Estate to grow the company and move it in new and exciting directions and paths to increased sales and profitability, as the V. P. of Recruitment as well as a licensed Real Estate Salesperson Consultant. Alan and his wife, Genevieve of 18 years live in Great Neck, NY. They enjoy movies, art museums, picnics in Ielpi Park (Grace Ave), and Fun @ Jones Beach.
